Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Daigo Asai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julius Jenkins!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asai thows a body shot but no joy.
Asai moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jenkins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jenkins fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Asai checks it well.
Asai bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Asai fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Asai throws a looping overhand right but Jenkins ducks down to avoid it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Jenkins.
Asai throws a sloppy body shot
and Jenkins counters with a good low kick that Asai was not able to check.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Asai moves into range and connects with a jab.
Asai scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
We've been told by Asai's head coaches at Xtreme Punishment that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Asai moves out of range as Jenkins throws a body kick.
Asai connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Asai cracks Jenkins with a good jab.
Asai misses with a body shot.
Jenkins clobbers Asai with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Asai lands with a good body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jenkins scores with a kick to the midsection.
Jenkins comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jenkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Asai throws a hook but Jenkins avoids it easily.
Jenkins thuds his shin into the meat of Asai's side.
Asai throws a sloppy head kick and Jenkins moves out of range easily.
Asai throws a hook to the side of Jenkins's head but Jenkins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A head kick by Asai misses
and Jenkins counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Jenkins throws a jab but it's blocked by Asai.
Jenkins feints and then cracks Asai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Asai down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jenkins lands with an uppercut that bounces Asai off the ropes and back into range.
Jenkins throws a front kick that sends Asai stumbling back into the ropes.
Jenkins blocks a jab.
Jenkins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Asai's calf.
Asai misses with a hook
and Jenkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jenkins ducks under a wild hook from Asai.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Asai misses with a straight right.
Jenkins throws the left hand but Asai avoids the punch easily.

Jenkins closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Asai crashing to the mat! Asai uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Asai is rocked!
Jenkins throws a head kick that half lands.
Oh Asai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Asai throws a poor cross that misses
and Jenkins counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Asai goes down! Jenkins rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Asai is up to one knee.... 8,9....10! He didn't make it! This fight is over!
