Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rampe Rovio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rovio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Boom City. Barnes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Andre Barnes has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Rampe Rovio's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rovio shoots and misses
and Barnes counters with a slapping leg kick.
Rovio misses with a right hand
and Barnes counters with a straight right hand.
Rovio misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barnes.
Rovio tries for a takedown but Barnes circles away easily
letting Barnes counter with a right hand.
Rovio shoots in and drives through. Barnes sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rampe Rovio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barnes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Barnes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rovio misses with a hook.
Rovio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Barnes works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rovio is rocked!
Barnes is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Rovio is in big trouble! Barnes is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Rovio. Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Andre Barnes!
A relieved looking Andre Barnes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
