Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katla Vanagandr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGregor comes to the cage accompanied by Bloc Party - Flux. Vanagandr has chosen The Whispers - Rock Steady as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Katla Vanagandr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Vanagandr.
McGregor looks to throw the jab but Vanagandr is out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vanagandr, as that shot connected.
McGregor misses with a lunging right hand
and Vanagandr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
McGregor throws out a loose jab but Vanagandr uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGregor lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Katla Vanagandr has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vanagandr moves into the clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Vanagandr.

McGregor turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McGregor manages to end up in side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Vanagandr avoids any damage from the ground and pound of McGregor.

McGregor shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vanagandr's guard.

McGregor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vanagandr swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McGregor is pushing down on Vanagandr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Vanagandr is fighting to maintain full guard but McGregor has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGregor tries to stand and escape but Vanagandr actually recovers to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
