Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juca Gigante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandon Harper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juca Gigante!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gigante shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Harper pinned against the cage. Harper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gigante shoots in looking for a takedown but Harper manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gigante's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Gigante enables Harper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gigante manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Gigante is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Harper trying to control the position from guard on top but Gigante is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gigante should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Gigante is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Harper defends well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harper trying to control but Gigante is working from the bottom.
Gigante working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gigante has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Harper should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gigante has tightened it up now! Harper should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
