Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Starking!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Vidal!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starking throws a right hand that Vidal ducks under and follows up with a left that Vidal also avoids with ease.
Starking throws a nice looking combination but Vidal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Starking lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Vidal looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Starking avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Vidal loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vidal stops Starking from standing up.
Vidal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Starking is keeping the position for now.
Vidal won't allow Starking to get back to his feet.
Vidal with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Starking keeping moving, preventing Vidal from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vidal missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Starking preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Vidal makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Vidal has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Vidal stands and throws Starking's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Vidal taking a breather here.
Vidal tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vidal is looking to take a break and control but Starking is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Vidal has hold of Starking's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Starking seems comfortable defending it but Vidal has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Starking is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Starking is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Vidal couldn't care less - he's delighted!
