Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dem Bonez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Fabiano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fabiano takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bonez doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Fabiano counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fabiano must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fabiano throws an elbow that misses. Bonez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fabiano's guard. Nice move by Bonez!

Fabiano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bonez's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fabiano is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Bonez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fabiano wants to improve his position but Bonez is controlling well.

Fabiano has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bonez is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fabiano.
Fabiano tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bonez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bonez tries to score with some ground and pound. Fabiano controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bonez wants to control but Fabiano is keeping him busy.

The fighters are battling for position here. Fabiano manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bonez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bonez is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fabiano!

Fabiano is desperately trying to improve his position but Bonez has a good base and remains in mount.

Fabiano is in a horrible position here. Bonez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Bonez throwing strikes but Fabiano bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.
Fabiano tries to free his leg and advance position but Bonez is retaining full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fabiano working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bonez's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fabiano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bonez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pablo Fabiano will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fabiano shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
