Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demetrious Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smiff comes into the arena with Nutz On Ya Chin by Eazy E blaring out of the sound system. Nicholas Ares has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Demetrious Smiff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Nicholas Ares! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ares connects with a body shot. Ares looks to clinch and Smiff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Nicholas Ares has been cut. Ares tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Smiff counters with a single leg into guard. Ares didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smiff cracks Ares with a solid left hand. Smiff content to stall in guard here. Ares is trying to keep Smiff in close.
Smiff trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Smiff has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ares looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smiff pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ares is keeping the position for now. Ares keeping moving, preventing Smiff from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ares fails with the takedown and Smiff counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Smiff. Smiff passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ares is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Ares is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smiff landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smiff is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ares looks calm but he's in trouble here. Smiff gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ares is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Smiff lets go of the hold and Ares can pop his arm back in it's socket.
