The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torpedo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Torpedo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Good work by Davies as he checks the leg kick.
Torpedo throws a hook to the side of Davies's head but Davies sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davies dives in for a single leg takedown but Torpedo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Torpedo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davies sprawls well initially but Torpedo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Davies is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Torpedo scores with a couple of nice shots.

Torpedo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Davies has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Torpedo has managed to get both his arms back between Davies's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Torpedo is just content to waste time from the top position. Davies takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Davies is bucking up trying to escape but Torpedo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Torpedo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Davies looks a forlorn figure.
