Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davide Pio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Pio has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pio displaying some good clinch control by pressing Stark up against the cage.
Stark is trying to drag Pio to the mat but Pio just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Stark is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Pio to keep the fight standing.

Pio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pio displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stark.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stark avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Stark darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Stark works his foot free and advances to mount.
Stark can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pio is looking to escape.

Stark controlling his opponent.
Pio is looking to improve his position but Stark isn't that keen on the idea.

Stark wants to finish this one by submission but Pio is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stark.
Pio tries to hold on but Stark postures up.
Pio throwing hammer fists to the chest of Stark. What's that going to do exactly?
Pio is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Stark looking to secure an arm triangle but Pio defends it well.
Stark controlling the pace for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pio has given up his back. Will we see Stark going for some submissions?

Pio won't enjoy being in this position. Stark looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Pio is tapping - it's over boys! Stark picks up the submission victory!
