Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barrett Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Beattie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beattie fails with the takedown. Hanson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Beattie but Beattie pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hanson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Beattie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hanson stacks Beattie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hanson! Beattie is being controlled here. Hanson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Beattie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Beattie is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson controls the position. Hanson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Hanson goes for a double leg but Beattie avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Beattie continues to drive forward. Hanson prevents Beattie from breaking the clinch. Beattie wants a takedown.
Hanson tries to break free but Beattie pushes him back against the cage. Hanson is looking to break free of the clinch but Beattie has double underhooks. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hanson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Beattie is pressed up against the cage. Hanson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Beattie down to the mat. Beattie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barrett Hanson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beattie fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beattie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beattie lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hanson will feel that in the morning. Beattie tries to clinch up but Hanson circles away and keeps his distance. Hanson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Beattie counters with a flying knee. Nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beattie moves out of range of the body kick. Beattie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hanson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hanson shoots and misses and Beattie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fight stays on the outside here - Beattie looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Beattie fails to land the takedown. A combination from Beattie does no damage. Beattie takes a swing at Hanson's ribcage but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beattie is looking to clinch. Hanson has a takedown stuffed. Hanson is breathing heavily. Beattie wants to clinch up but Hanson keeps it at a distance. Beattie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hanson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Beattie. Beattie fails in his attempt to clinch. Hanson stuffs the takedown attempt from Beattie. Beattie gets slowly back to his feet. Beattie gets tackled into the cage by Hanson. Hanson maintains the clinch. Hanson wants a takedown but no success here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanson avoiding damage.
Hanson is trying to push Beattie away but Beattie has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Beattie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hanson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Beattie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hanson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Beattie throws a front kick that sends Hanson stumbling back into the cage. Beattie wants to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hanson fails to land the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bobby Beattie will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Beattie dives in and grabs Hanson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hanson pushes down on Beattie's head and hops out. Hanson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beattie swivels and escapes. Hanson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hanson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barrett Hanson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hanson slips a jab and a cross from Beattie.

Beattie blocks the body kick.
Hanson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hanson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hanson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beattie looking for a sweep but Hanson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Beattie is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hanson working for a guillotine from mount but Beattie is in no mood to give up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beattie looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Beattie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hanson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hanson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Beattie knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Beattie for a finish. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Hanson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanson has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanson working for a choke but Beattie is defending well. Hanson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Beattie covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Hanson gets his hands free as Beattie looks to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barrett Hanson dominated that second round. That's time! Hanson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Hanson closes the distance and clinches. Hanson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Beattie after a bit of a struggle. Beattie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hanson to keep the fight standing. Hanson gets control of Beattie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hanson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beattie sitting in guard here, content to control. Hanson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Beattie throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Hanson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Hanson controlling the position easily from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanson prevents Beattie from getting the reversal. Hanson controlling the pace for now. Beattie really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Beattie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hanson content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hanson controlling the pace for now. Hanson with the ground and pound from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hanson controlling from the full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beattie is bucking up trying to escape but Hanson cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Hanson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Beattie because Hanson loaded up on that one. Hanson controlling his opponent. Hanson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Barrett Hanson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Beattie wants to control but Hanson is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanson content just to control the position here. Hanson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Beattie for as long as he can get away with. Hanson landing shots from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hanson seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Beattie is holding on tight.
And that's the end of the fight! Barrett Hanson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hanson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
