Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Parks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Clifton Parks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dan Price!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Parks.
Parks takes a swing at Price's ribcage but misses.
Parks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Parks darts in and clinches Price up against the cage.

Price pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Parks slaps away a takedown attempt from Price, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Price has Parks up against the cage in a clinch.
Parks taking a breather.
Price jumps guard but Parks turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Parks is trying to pull guard but Price has him pressed against the cage.

Price has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Parks uses from the top position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Parks postures up.
Parks is looking to work some ground and pound but Price has wrist control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Price can do anything to dispel that myth.

Price is looking for a triangle here but Parks uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Parks is trying to get an arm triangle but Price is defending well.
Parks is staying tight to Price's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Parks decides to stand back up. Parks steps back and let's Price get back to his feet.
Price throws a head kick but Parks moves out of range.
Price stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Price wants it to stay on the feet.

Price gets the takedown into side control.
Parks tries to bench press Price off him but Price keeps the position.
Parks stops Price from passing to mount.
Price working away.
Parks is not content to let Price control the position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Parks is looking for a sweep.

Price is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parks knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Price tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Parks is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Parks regains half guard there - taking advantage of Price's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Parks wants to improve his position but Price is controlling well.
Still in half guard, Price seems content to control.
Price working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Parks's thigh. Parks counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Price looking to sit in guard and control but Parks gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dan Price will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Price shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Parks throws a sloppy head kick

and Price counters by clinching up.
Price is trying to break free.
Parks is pressed up against the cage. Price has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Parks down to the mat. Parks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Parks has Price up against the cage in a clinch.
Price is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Parks is defending well.
Clifton Parks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Price.

Price jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Parks walks away with a smile on his face. Price gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Parks goes for a double leg but Price avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Price continues to drive forward.
Price is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Parks on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Price is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Parks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Price has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Parks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Price looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Price is trying to break free.

Price's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Price misses with a head kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Parks is defended easily by Price.

Price shoots in looking for a takedown. Parks tries to sprawl out of it but Price keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Price rushes Parks and presses him up against the cage.
Price jumps guard but Parks stands there with Price around his waist. Price gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Parks lands a good knee to the midsection. Price won't want to take too many of those.
Price is breathing heavily.
Parks tries to pull guard but Price holds him up against the cage and eventually Parks drops back down to his feet.
Price can't find room to land a body shot as Parks controls the action.
Parks wants a takedown.

Price breaks from the clinch.

Parks instigates a clinch.
Price keeps control of Parks as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Parks throws a knee to the head but misses.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Price jumps guard and drags Parks to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Dan Price will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Parks.
Price tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parks swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Price dives in for a single leg takedown but Parks sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Well Price has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
