Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jesse James Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobber's entrance music is WANTED D.O.A.. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jesse James Jobber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes throws a head kick but Jobber moves out of range.
Nunes takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nunes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No joy there for Nunes, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nunes throws a head kick that misses.
Nunes throws a head kick that misses.
Nunes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jobber was covering up waiting for the punch and Nunes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jobber is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Jobber has his feet on Nunes's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Jobber throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sloppy strikes from Nunes. Those never looked like landing.
Jobber tries to clinch but Nunes moves out of range.
Jobber lands a nice shot to the body.
Nunes throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jobber has managed to clinch.
Jobber digs a right hand underneath Nunes's ribcage. Nunes let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Jobber lands an elbow inside that Nunes shrugs off.
Jobber tries to land knees in the clinch but Nunes avoids the damage to the body.
Jobber gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Jobber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jobber throws a head kick that misses.
Nunes tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Nunes.
Jobber is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nunes dives in and grabs Jobber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jobber pushes down on Nunes's head and hops out.
Nunes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jobber sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nunes somewhat.
Nunes tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Jobber instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jobber lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Diego Nunes has been cut.
Jobber breaks from the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nunes misses with a two punch combination.
Jobber moves into range and clinches up with Nunes.
Jobber lands an uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Jobber.
Jobber prevents the takedown attempt.
Jesse James Jobber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Nunes.
Nunes looks winded!
Nunes fails to pull guard.
Jobber is working Nunes over against the cage.
Jobber manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Jobber moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Nunes! Jobber continues to tee off on Nunes, landing with a left and a right! Jobber connects with a right hand that leaves Nunes sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Jobber!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jesse James Jobber!
An out of breath and clearly excited Jesse James Jobber thanked Conviction for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
The defeated Diego Nunes had this to say: 'i decided not to re sign with Bfc. because i lost to jeremy henderson and sync fowler, and jesse james won against both and for somehow i had to fight him...eehhm okay?'.
