Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Meat Loaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Whitman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loaf kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eat My Loaf. Whitman has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music. Charles Whitman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Meat Loaf! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Charles Whitman! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitman scores with a jab to the head.
Whitman just misses with a punch to the body.
Whitman throws a sloppy head kick and Loaf moves out of range easily. Loaf pushes Whitman up against the cage in a clinch. Loaf tries a body shot but Whitman blocks it.
Whitman is trying to break the clinch but Loaf is controlling him. Whitman tries a body shot but Loaf blocks it.
Loaf lands a body punch in the clinch. Loaf lands a hook that snaps the head of Whitman backwards. Whitman is trying to push Loaf away but Loaf has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Loaf doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Loaf works on Whitman's body with a couple of short punches. Loaf slows down the pace here.
Loaf keeps control of Whitman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Whitman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nice body punch from Whitman. Whitman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A good leg kick by Loaf. Whitman throws a lazy right hand but Loaf sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whitman looks to land a left hand but Loaf moved out of range nicely. Loaf motions for Whitman to come forward. Loaf throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Whitman misses with a leg kick and Loaf makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Whitman with a body punch. A glancing blow. Whitman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Loaf bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Loaf pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Loaf goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Charles Whitman has been cut. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Loaf. Whitman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Loaf can pounce on him.
Loaf throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Whitman looks to land a left hand but Loaf moved out of range nicely. Loaf lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Whitman at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Whitman throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Whitman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Whitman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Loaf stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Loaf doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Whitman lands with an overhand left. Whitman misses with an attempted mid kick.

Loaf closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Whitman did well to prevent Loaf getting side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Loaf takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Loaf landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Whitman tries to roll over but Loaf keeps him under control. Loaf throwing shots but Whitman is blocking nicely. Whitman told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Loaf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Whitman is trying to maintain the position but Loaf is very close to passing his half guard. Loaf tries to pass to full mount but Whitman defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loaf thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Whitman's head. Whitman tries to roll over but Loaf keeps him under control. Loaf not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Whitman is looking to improve his position.
Whitman avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Loaf. Loaf wants to pass to mount but Whitman is defending the position. Loaf working Whitman over with strikes. Loaf not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Loaf trying to mount his opponent but Whitman defends it. Loaf throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Whitman tries to get to full guard but Loaf has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Whitman is concentrating on defense, preventing Loaf from advancing position. Whitman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Loaf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Loaf is controlling the pace.
Loaf prevents Whitman from improving his position. Loaf is trying for a kimura here. Whitman looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Loaf wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Meat Loaf! Meat Loaf retains his bantamweight title! Post fight, Meat Loaf stared into the camera and said 'Broken Halo Pride!'.
