Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Severn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce comes into the arena with I want it all blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Simon Bruce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bas Severn!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn tries to clinch but Bruce is having none of it.

Bruce shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Severn but Severn pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Severn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bruce has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Simon Bruce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bruce tries to bum rush Severn with a series of wild strikes but Severn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Severn lands a strong strike to the head of Bruce. That's dazed him! Severn looking to finish here. Bruce is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Severn lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
