Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Colt might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Steppenwolf - Born to be Wild. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Colt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Foster! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colt throws a big shot that misses. Colt jabs at Foster's body. Colt gets a clinch. Colt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Colt working aggressively here.
I was talking to Colt's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Colt gets through Foster's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Colt scores with a shoulder strike. Foster wants a takedown but no success here.
Foster tries for a takedown but Colt manages to get underhooks.
Colt has a couple of punches blocked by Foster.
Colt softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Colt misses with the head strike.
Colt fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colt scores with a shot to the side of Foster's head. Foster gets control of Colt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Foster will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Foster keeping full guard, as Colt tries to pass. Foster working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Colt. Colt tries to free his leg and advance position but Foster is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Colt throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Colt postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Foster covers up, he's hurt! Colt keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Colt and the ref steps in to end the fight! Colt can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Colt! After the fight, Alex Colt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
