Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Spenser May (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speck Trum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Spenser May! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Speck Trum! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by May. May rushes Trum and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Trum tries to score a body lock takedown but May shows good agility there to stay on his feet. May has Trum pressed against the cage.
May using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Trum letting May take a breather here. May tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
May connects with a knee to the head.
Trum tries to stall but May uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
May misses with a knee to the head. May using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Trum has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Trum jumps guard and drags May to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. May has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Trum is proving hard to escape from. May postures up.

May tries to land a knee to the head but Trum blocks with his arms.
Trum is trying to work for a single leg takedown but May pulls him back up using the underhooks. Spenser May has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Speck Trum. Trum looks gassed! May looking to throw knees to the head but Trum is blocking nicely.
Trum looking for a takedown. Trum tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. May just stands there and leans against the cage. Trum tries to work over May's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. May avoiding damage.
May throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Trum blocks it with crossed arms. Trum is trying to stall.

Trum tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. May smiles and moves away.
Trum gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. May lands with a short shot to the head. Trum gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. May looking to control.
May is looking to stand up but Trum isn't so interested in that idea. May utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Trum postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Trum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. May is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. May is wriggling around but Trum manages to pass to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trum is trying to work for a kimura but May is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. May scores with a takedown into Trum's guard. May wanted to stand there but Trum had control of the position. Trum looking for a guillotine here but May defends easily.
May works a leg free and moves into half guard. Trum trying to control here.
Trum is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute May jumps into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. May decides to stand up, so the ref orders Trum to his feet. May tries to clinch but fails miserably and Trum counters with a nice double leg into side control. May won't be happy with that. May is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Trum has just dragged him back down to the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. May is not content to let Trum control the position. May tries to bench press Trum off him but Trum keeps the position. Trum working away. Trum tries to move into full mount but can't pass May's legs. Trum has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. May tries to clinch and Trum counters with a low kick, right behind May 's knee. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! May wants to clinch but Trum slips to the side and Trum moves into the clinch. Trum lands a body shot. May gets underhooks to prevent Trum's takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Spenser May will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
May tries to clinch up and Trum counters with a left and a right that stings May. May takes a shot right to the bread basket. Trum circles away from the clinch attempt and Trum moves into the clinch. May throws an elbow but it misses.
A short body shot lands from Trum as the two fighters clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. May on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The is referee keeping an eye on Trum - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Trum decides to pull guard. Trum working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. May doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. May manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. May gets to his feet - Trum follows without any prompting.

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. May decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Trum, up you get! May throws a sloppy head kick and Trum moves out of range easily. Trum comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - May looks like he's thinking about clinching though. May tries to clinch up but Trum circles away and keeps his distance. Trum clinches up with May and pushes him back against the cage. Trum tries to pull guard but May holds him up against the cage and eventually Trum drops back down to his feet.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Trum. Trum tries to score a body lock takedown but May shows good agility there to stay on his feet. May with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Trum has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics May uses from the top position. May wants to control from the top but Trum keeps moving. Trum trying to control the position.

Speck Trum showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! May's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

May darts in and clinches Trum up against the cage. May digs a right hand underneath Trum's ribcage. Trum let out a lung full of air as it connected. May stops a takedown attempt from Trum.

Trum is trying to maintain a safe position but May gets an underhook and turns Trum into the cage. Trum goes for a takedown in the clinch but May prevents it.

Trum is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Trum can do anything to dispel that myth. Trum gets back to full guard.
Trum wants to sweep here but May controlling him for the moment. May is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Trum looking to hit a scissor sweep but May is one step ahead there.

May preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Trum wants to control from the top but May keeps moving. May is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. May has his feet on Trum's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Speck Trum comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Trum has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
