Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarmo Suulas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture comes to the cage accompanied by Mama said knock you out. Suulas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hollywood Undead - Undead. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Suulas.

We've been told by Couture's head coaches at Lawson MMA (UK) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Suulas holds on and takes a little breather.
Suulas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Couture's guard.
Couture is looking to stand up but Suulas isn't so interested in that idea.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Suulas working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Suulas takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Couture is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Suulas off. It looks like it's working - Suulas slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Couture displaying calm under pressure there.

Couture throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Suulas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tarmo Suulas hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Suulas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Couture tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Suulas remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Tarmo Suulas has got the better of the ground game so far.

Well Suulas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
