Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ted Coke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bada Bing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coke comes into the arena with Cocaine blaring out of the sound system. Bing has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Bada Bing told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ted Coke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bada Bing! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Bing enables Coke to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bing manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Coke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Coke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Coke's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Bing is looking for a triangle but Coke pushes his legs off easily.
Bing is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Coke looking to pass the guard. Coke forces his way into half guard. Coke tries to stand and escape but Bing is controlling the position. Bing is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coke's back! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bing controlling from the back. Bing looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Bing has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Coke can't escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Coke wants to control his opponent's hands but Bing gets his hands free. Coke wants to get back to his feet. Bing gets his hands free as Coke looks to control. Bing is trying to stick to Coke's back but Coke is turning into Bing. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bing's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Coke. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Coke wants to control from the top but Bing keeps moving.
Ted Coke has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Coke fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coke misses with a few strikes there.
Coke feints and as Bing raises his hands in defense, Coke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Bing looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coke is one step ahead there. Coke passes into half guard. Coke is working for a submission of some sort.
Coke is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bing sees it coming and defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bing regains full guard. Nicely done. Coke throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bing works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Coke scoring with some ground and pound. Bing looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Coke avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bing escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coke wants to pass the guard but Bing is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ted Coke dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bing thows a left - swing and a miss! No luck with that takedown attempt from Coke. Coke throws a series of punches but Bing moves out of range. Bing slaps away a takedown attempt from Coke, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bing leaves Coke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Coke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bing keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A jab from Bing misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coke swings away with a body shot that misses
and Coke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Coke shoots in for a takedown but Bing shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Coke throws a head kick but Bing moves out of range.
Coke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bing moves away. Bing digs a good body shot into Coke's ribs. Coke shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bing defends it nicely. Coke fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ted Coke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bing looks to land a combination but Coke avoids it well. Coke cracks Bing with a good jab. Bing cracks Coke with a good jab. Coke throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bing's waist but Bing gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coke off to one side. Bing keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Coke with a poor takedown and Bing counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Coke thinking. Coke misses with a double jab.
Bing looks to throw the jab but Coke is out of range. Bing slips a jab and a cross from Coke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coke shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bing is trying to defend but Coke finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bing actively working from the bottom here. Bing looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bing slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Coke missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Coke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bing working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coke doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coke manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coke advances position into side control! Bing tries to buck Coke off but Coke is having none of it. Coke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Coke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Coke is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bing is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bing sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Ted Coke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Coke seems to be working for a kimura but Bing defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Coke will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Coke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bing is fending him off so far but Coke persists. Nope, Bing circles away and we're back to standing. Coke misses the shot to the body. Bing throws a lazy right hand but Coke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coke is defended easily by Bing. A big left from Bing misses. Bing's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bing duly obliges.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Bing. No joy for Coke on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Coke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bing slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Coke throws a quick inside leg kick. Coke fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Coke shoots in looking for a takedown but Bing manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coke's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bing scores with a jab to the head.
Bing throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bing throws a body punch but Coke moves out of range. Bada Bing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck for Coke with that takedown attempt. Coke throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Bing misses the target. Ted Coke is winning the standup battle so far. Coke with a poor takedown and Bing counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sloppy strikes from Coke. Those never looked like landing. Bing moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Coke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bing pinned against the cage. Bing gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bing avoids the head kick by Coke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coke throws a right and a left that Bing avoids nicely. Coke is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Coke throws a series of punches but Bing moves out of range. A jab lands there for Bing. Coke shoots and misses and Bing counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A jab from Bing misses. Coke closes the distance and pushes Bing back into the cage. Coke is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coke lands a nice elbow. Coke turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Bing is looking for a sweep. Coke tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bing's legs. Coke is trying to get an arm triangle but Bing is defending well. Bing manages to get back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bing slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bada Bing. Well Coke has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by split decision... Ted Coke! Ted Coke decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
