Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Gniewomir Polaniecki! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frederick Frost! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Frost connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Gniewomir Polaniecki has been cut. Polaniecki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frost.
Polaniecki ducks under a wild hook from Frost. Frost fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Polaniecki, pushing him back against the cage. A short right from Frost on the inside. Frost stalling.
Frost swings wildly with an uppercut but Polaniecki uses good head movement to avoid it. Frost lands a body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frost pressing his opponent against the cage. Polaniecki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Polaniecki takes a swing at Frost's ribcage but misses. Frost darts in trying to clinch and Polaniecki counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polaniecki throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Polaniecki is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Frost's half guard. Polaniecki content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Frost is looking to improve his position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Polaniecki performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Polaniecki trying to control from half guard but Frost is working away. Polaniecki is taking a breather. Frost says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We're going to have a standup here because Gniewomir Polaniecki wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Polaniecki shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense. Frost tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Polaniecki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Frost misses the shot to the body. Frost misses with a hook. Frost takes a swing at Polaniecki's ribcage but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Polaniecki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Frost bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Polaniecki's head. Polaniecki avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Polaniecki tries a low kick but Frost avoids it. Polaniecki takes a swing at Frost's ribcage but misses. Frost misses with a low kick. Polaniecki fakes the leg kick and cracks Frost in the body. Frost throws a leg kick but Polaniecki checks it. Polaniecki misses with a low kick. Frost dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Polaniecki on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Frost. Frost obviously looking to wear him down.

Frederick Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Polaniecki drops his hands momentarily and Frost takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Frost tries to clinch but Polaniecki moves out of range. Frost lands a nice looking body shot.
Frost throws a nice inside leg kick. Polaniecki is breathing heavily. Polaniecki takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Polaniecki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Frost. Frost lands with an uppercut that bounces Polaniecki off the cage and back into range. Polaniecki avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Polaniecki looks to score with a jab to the body but Frost is just out of range. Polaniecki gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Frost. Frost throws a front kick aimed at Polaniecki's knee but Polaniecki avoids it well. Polaniecki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Frost has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frederick Frost dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gniewomir Polaniecki's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Frost slips under a jab from Polaniecki. Frost misses with a low kick. Polaniecki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Frost fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Frost throws a body punch but Polaniecki moves out of range. Polaniecki on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Polaniecki looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Polaniecki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frost was well out of range. Poor timing from Polaniecki. Polaniecki throws a leg kick which misses Frost's front leg but catches the back leg as Frost tries to avoid it. Frost throws an overhand right that lands on Polaniecki's shoulder, as Polaniecki tries to avoid the shot. Polaniecki looking to score a takedown here. Frost is defending well but Polaniecki drives through and ends up in Frost's guard. Polaniecki trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom. Frost looking for a sweep. Not yet Frost, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Polaniecki trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Frost is trying to keep Polaniecki in close.
Polaniecki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Frost is keeping the position for now. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Polaniecki takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Polaniecki throws out a leg kick but Frost moves out of range and Polaniecki only half commits. Frost shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Polaniecki misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Frost misses with a hook
and Polaniecki counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Crunch! Polaniecki slams his shin into Frost's torso. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Frost.
This has been an exciting period of action! Frost throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Polaniecki fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Frost takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A low kick from Polaniecki misses and Frost counters with an inside leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Frost misses with a low kick.

Frost feints and then cracks Polaniecki's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Polaniecki down. Frost throws out a loose jab but Polaniecki uses good head movement to avoid it. Frost throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A big left from Frost misses. Frost with a hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Polaniecki misses with a low kick. A low kick from Polaniecki is predictable there and Frost cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Frost has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Frost cracks Polaniecki with a good jab.
Gniewomir Polaniecki's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Polaniecki swings for the body but Frost moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Frost scores with a hook. Polaniecki blocks a head kick by Frost.

Polaniecki's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Frost connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Polaniecki scrambles back to his feet. Polaniecki defending well as Frost loads up on a big left hand. Polaniecki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Frost sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Polaniecki somewhat. Frost lunges at Polaniecki with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Polaniecki's hand. Polaniecki throws a front kick aimed at Frost's knee but Frost avoids it well. Frost throws a chopping leg kick but Polaniecki manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Polaniecki throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Polaniecki cracks Frost with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Polaniecki throws a sloppy head kick and Frost counters with a nice body shot. Nice body punch from Frost. Frost throws a hook to the side of Polaniecki's head but Polaniecki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Frederick Frost is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Frost throws a solid leg kick but Polaniecki takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Frost. Polaniecki on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Frost throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Frost swings for the body but Polaniecki moves out of range.
Frost listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Frost fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Frost connects with the punch. Frost sends Polaniecki crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Frost is motioning to the referee to let Polaniecki up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Jeez, Gniewomir Polaniecki's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Frost cracks a nice hook into Polaniecki's ribs. Oh Polaniecki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Frost tries to clinch up but Polaniecki circles away and keeps his distance. BAM! Frost delivers a spinning backfist that drops Polaniecki like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
