Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Cuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cuts has chosen Pendulum- voodoo people remix as his entrance music. The key to victory for Kean Martin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Sly Cuts! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Martin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Martin cracks Cuts with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Martin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cuts. Martin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch but Cuts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Martin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Martin is figuring out what he wants to do next. Cuts tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Cuts is not content to let Martin control the position. Cuts wants to sweep but Martin has passed to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cuts wants to control but Martin postures up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cuts can do anything to dispel that myth. Cuts bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Cuts looks gassed! Cuts with a poor takedown and Martin counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cuts shoots and misses and Martin counters with a shoot takedown. Cuts fights it but they end up in guard. Martin scoring with some ground and pound. Martin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Martin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cuts, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cuts swats away the attempt to clinch by Martin. Martin clinches with his opponent.
Martin has had enough of the clinch but Cuts keeps him there for the moment. Cuts drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kean Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sly Cuts. Martin is trying to break the clinch but Cuts has him pressed against the cage. Martin wants a takedown but no success here.

so Martin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Martin sitting in guard here, content to control. Martin looking to pass the guard. Martin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cuts wants to stand up but Martin is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin stands up from Cuts's guard - Martin perhaps looking for a knockout. Sly Cuts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martin throws a sloppy head kick and Cuts moves out of range easily. Martin pushes Cuts up against the cage in a clinch. The referee calls for Martin to work.
Martin is looking to break free of the clinch but Cuts has double underhooks. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cuts keeps control of Martin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Martin blocks a body shot from Cuts. Martin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cuts pulls him back up using the underhooks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kean Martin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Martin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Martin showed some decent athleticism there. Martin is tying to control. Cuts wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Cuts wants to get back to his feet.
Martin is looking to take a break and control but Cuts is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Martin content to control rather than advance. Cuts is breathing heavily. Martin tries to pass to full mount but Cuts defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin controlling the action here. Cuts works his way to full guard. Good work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Martin passes Cuts's left leg - he's now in half guard. Martin trying to mount his opponent but Cuts defends it. Cuts wants to control but Martin is keeping busy.

Cuts gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Martin counters by moving into the clinch. Martin wants to get back to striking at distance but Cuts won't allow it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Martin gets the takedown into side control. Martin just content to control the position. Martin working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Martin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cuts to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kean Martin dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Left hook, right uppercut from Martin. Cuts with a lazy takedown attempt and Martin counters with a takedown into side control. The referee asks Martin politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Martin prefers to stall for the moment though. Martin decides to stand back up. Martin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Martin duly obliges. Martin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Martin decides to stand up. Martin is looking to clinch but Cuts is avoiding it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Martin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Cuts throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin decides to stand back up. Martin steps back and let's Cuts get back to his feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Cuts looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Martin doesn't manage to clinch there - Cuts circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin advances to mount. Cuts tries to lock up and control but Martin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cuts is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Martin is landing with some decent strikes but Cuts is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Cuts is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Martin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Cuts is squirming around, avoiding Martin's attempts to control the action. Martin lands a big shot there that rocks Cuts but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Sly Cuts has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Martin controlling from the full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Kean Martin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Martin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
