Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dada Chisaraokwu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Mario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dada Chisaraokwu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dada Chisaraokwu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carlos Mario! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mario shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mario wants to pass the guard but Chisaraokwu is keeping the position. Chisaraokwu not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mario wants to control from the top but Chisaraokwu keeps moving. Chisaraokwu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Chisaraokwu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chisaraokwu tries to get out of the position. Mario throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mario with a flurry of punches that miss. Chisaraokwu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Carlos Mario. Mario tries for a takedown but Chisaraokwu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Mario looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chisaraokwu clinches with his opponent.
Mario is trying to push Chisaraokwu away but Chisaraokwu has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere. Mario goes for a takedown attempt but Chisaraokwu pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Chisaraokwu shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mario looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chisaraokwu stops Mario from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chisaraokwu scoring with some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chisaraokwu distracts Mario with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
It looks like Carlos Mario has been cut. Mario escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chisaraokwu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chisaraokwu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chisaraokwu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mario's head. Mario has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chisaraokwu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Chisaraokwu landing some decent shots from guard. Mario is trying to hold Chisaraokwu in close to prevent damage but Chisaraokwu has managed to pass into half guard.
Mario has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mario looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. It looks like Chisaraokwu is going to stand back up.
Mario is looking for a sweep. Chisaraokwu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mario is staying active underneath Chisaraokwu, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Chisaraokwu winds up and cracks Mario with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mario is trying to get back to full guard. Mario looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Chisaraokwu is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Chisaraokwu looking to control but Mario is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Chisaraokwu postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Mario looks a forlorn figure.
The cut above Carlos Mario's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chisaraokwu postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Mario in real trouble here! The ref calls for Mario to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dada Chisaraokwu!
