The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dziaslo tries to close the distance and clinch but Pitts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pitts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dziaslo is looking to clinch but Pitts is avoiding it.

Pitts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pitts in particular looking to stall.
Pitts is keen to just control but Dziaslo is a slippery customer.
