PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grand Master Yip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yip Man kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everything in it's right place. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers tries a head kick but it misses.
Yip Man takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rogers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rogers doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jimmy Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yip Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Yip Man misses with an uppercut. Rogers saw that one coming.
Rogers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rogers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yip Man moves out of range of the strikes.
Rogers misses with a looping left.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A clash of legs there as Rogers blocks the low kick.

Yip Man takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rogers chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yip Man can pounce on him.

Yip Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rogers misses with a few strikes there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rogers's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Yip Man connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rogers scrambles back to his feet.
That kick from Yip Man tenderised Rogers's leg. Rogers is trying to keep his angry face on.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yip Man, as that shot connected.
Yip Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A jab lands there for Yip Man.
Yip Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rogers moves away.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Rogers regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Yip Man.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yip Man lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Yip Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
