The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beauregard drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Meyner taking a bit of punishment here - Beauregard scoring with strikes.
Beauregard throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Beauregard tries to move to mount but Meyner blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beauregard tries to advance position but instead Meyner slips a leg back in to half guard.

Beauregard trying to pass the guard but Meyner defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beauregard looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Beauregard is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Beauregard is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Beauregard postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Meyner looks a forlorn figure.
Meyner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Beauregard loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Meyner scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Beauregard land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Beauregard stands and salutes the crowd.
