Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uthred Osbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Pettis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Uthred Osbert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Pettis! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Osbert shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Osbert is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Osbert might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pettis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Osbert defends well. Osbert working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Osbert is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Osbert trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Osbert is pushing down on Pettis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pettis is fighting to maintain full guard but Osbert has managed to sneak the leg through. Pettis throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Osbert tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pettis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Pettis trying to hold on to Osbert's head to control him but Osbert postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pettis tries to sprawl but Osbert drives through with a takedown into half guard. Pettis is staying active underneath Osbert, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Osbert winds up and cracks Pettis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Pettis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Osbert scores with a couple of nice shots. Osbert scoring with strikes to the body and head. Osbert lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Pettis is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pettis is trying to maintain the position but Osbert is very close to passing his half guard. Pettis is still in real trouble! Can Osbert finish him? Osbert landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Osbert lands a big elbow - Pettis is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Osbert!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uthred Osbert!
