Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Saint Seiya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigoro Kano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seiya kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pegasus Fantasy. Saint Seiya has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Saint Seiya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jigoro Kano!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seiya defending well as Kano loads up on a big left hand.
Kano has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kano there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Seiya. That snapped Kano's head back.
Kano looks to score with a jab to the body but Seiya is just out of range.
Kano takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Kano on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Seiya there.
Kano throws a lazy uppercut
and Seiya counters with a two punch combo.
Seiya cracks a nice hook into Kano's ribs.
Kano pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Seiya lands with a straight right. Kano didn't see that one coming.
Kano swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Seiya looks to score with a jab to the body but Kano is just out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Seiya, as that shot connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kano is still on wobbly legs! Can Seiya finish him?
Seiya lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Kano falls backwards - clearly groggy! Seiya dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saint Seiya!
Saint Seiya decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
