Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dylan Baker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dylan Baker!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baker.

and Green counters with a single leg into guard. Baker didn't expect that.

Green drops back, looking for a kneebar! Baker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baker!

Baker scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Green to see if he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Baker avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Baker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Baker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Green works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Green is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Baker is aware though and is defending well.

Green working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Baker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Green controls the pace.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Baker controls Green momentarily but Green frees himself.

Baker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Green's half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baker can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Green is looking to take a break and control but Baker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We're going to have a standup here because Mike Green wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Green enables Baker to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Green manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Green closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baker circles away.

Green bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Baker tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Poor strikes thrown by Green there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Baker bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Baker closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Green's guard.

Mike Green showed his dominance in that final round.
