Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Puppy Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Love comes to the cage accompanied by Otherside by Mackemore X Ryan Lewis. The crowd seem to be enjoying Corbett's choice of entrance music: Men at Work - Down Under. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Love throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Corbett has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Love is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Corbett keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Corbett attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Corbett throws a jab when Love was well out of range.
Corbett tries to bum rush Love with a series of wild strikes but Love uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Corbett scores with a sloppy right hand. Love should have avoided that one.
Love swings for the body but Corbett moves out of range.

Corbett throws a low kick but it's checked well by Love.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Love misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Love is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Corbett knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Love doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Corbett scores with a head kick. Love tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


Love is rocked!
Corbett lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Love can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Corbett and Love drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Corbett.
