Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luboslav Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruiz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ZARILA KANDZE. Luboslav Petrov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Kruiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luboslav Petrov! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov scores with a body shot.
Kruiz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kruiz tries to keep at a distance but Petrov has taken the fight into the clinch. Petrov lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Petrov sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kruiz defending well though. Petrov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kruiz's head. Petrov throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Petrov is keen to just control but Kruiz is a slippery customer. Petrov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Petrov working Kruiz over with strikes. Kruiz wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petrov scoring with strikes to the body and head. Petrov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Petrov wants to stand up but Kruiz is controlling the position.
Kruiz won't allow Petrov to pass to mount. Petrov not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kruiz tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Petrov has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruiz suckers Petrov into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Kruiz is now in Petrov's guard!
Kruiz tries to free his leg and advance position but Petrov is retaining full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Petrov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kruiz is looking for a kimura but Petrov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kruiz to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petrov is trying to maintain the position but Kruiz is very close to passing his half guard. Kruiz is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Petrov slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Petrov wants to sweep here but Kruiz controlling him for the moment. Petrov controls Kruiz momentarily but Kruiz frees himself. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kruiz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kruiz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kruiz preventing the sweep. Kruiz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are working up against the cage. Petrov manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Petrov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kruiz uses from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kruiz has gone for a leg lock! Petrov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kruiz's guard. Kruiz is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Petrov wants to control from the top but Kruiz keeps moving. Kruiz manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Petrov wants to hold on but Kruiz pushes him away. Kruiz with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luboslav Petrov dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Petrov drives through and clinches with Kruiz against the cage.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Petrov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Petrov wants to control but Kruiz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kruiz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kruiz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Petrov keeps trying to improve his position. Kruiz not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kruiz seems to be working for a kimura but Petrov defends the submission attempt. Kruiz missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kruiz has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Petrov defend it? Kruiz steps over the head and cranks it - Petrov is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kruiz!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tom Kruiz! After the fight, Tom Kruiz was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
