Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stephane Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Rohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phillips comes to the cage accompanied by Bing Bong by Korki Buchek. Stephane Phillips has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stephane Phillips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Rohan!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Phillips is defended easily by Rohan.
Phillips really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Phillips closes the distance and clinches up with Rohan, looking for a takedown. Phillips pushes Rohan against the cage but Rohan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rohan looks to score with a jab to the body but Phillips is just out of range.

Rohan misses with an uppercut. Phillips saw that one coming.
A big left from Rohan misses.
Phillips shoots for a double leg takedown but Rohan sprawls well. He's pushed Phillips's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Phillips has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

George Rohan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phillips bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rohan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Phillips shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Phillips was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

I really don't envy Rohan right now.

Phillips sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Rohan's guard.
Rohan wants to control but Phillips is keeping busy.

That's time! Phillips's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Rohan is staying active underneath Phillips, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

A very excited looking Stephane Phillips rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
