Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Helton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes to the cage accompanied by Duality. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Evan Reis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Helton! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helton takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Reis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Helton pinned against the cage. Helton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Helton misses with a takedown and Reis counters with a single leg into guard. Helton didn't expect that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reis landing with the ground and pound. Helton wants to stand but Reis is controlling the position. Reis trying to control the position from guard on top but Helton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Helton looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Reis passes into side control.
Helton tries to improve position but can't. What's Helton going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Reis trying to control the action but Helton is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Helton takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Helton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reis working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Helton is not content to let Reis control the position. Reis scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Helton to see if he's OK. Reis tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Helton is trying to get back to his feet. Helton is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reis advances to full mount. Helton wants to hold on but Reis pushes him away. Reis looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Reis looking to control but Helton is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Reis looking to finish Helton with some ground and pound. This is bad for Helton! Reis landing strikes, looking to finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Helton is surviving well by controlling Reis's body position as best he can. Reis working the ground and pound effectively.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Helton is looking to escape. Reis landing strikes from the mount and Helton is in trouble! Reis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Reis punishing his opponent with strikes. Reis lands a big shot there that rocks Helton but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Reis goes for an armbar but Helton turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Helton. Helton wants to get up but he can't break Reis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Helton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Reis's head. Reis is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Helton rolls with it to try and escape but Reis cranks on the arm and Helton is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
