Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tekken Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Fray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tekken Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Fray!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Slice takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Slice closes the distance looking to clinch

and Fray moves into the clinch.
Slice lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Fray tries to break the clinch but Slice is controlling the position.
Fray lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Slice has had enough of the clinch but Fray keeps him there for the moment.
Fray keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Slice's efforts to push away.

Fray breaks from the clinch.
Slice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fray pinned against the cage. Fray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Fray is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slice closes the distance looking to clinch
and Fray counters with a nice uppercut.
Fray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slice moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Slice fails in his attempt to clinch.
Slice looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fray fails to land with a series of punches.
Slice shoots for a takedown but Fray saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tekken Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fray lands with a cross.
Slice steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fray.
Slice shoots in looking for a takedown. Fray tries to sprawl out of it but Slice keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fray manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Slice fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Fray moves into the clinch.
Fray works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Slice.
Slice looking to stall.
Slice has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fray after a bit of a struggle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slice tries to break free but Fray pushes him back against the cage.
Fray tries to land knees in the clinch but Slice avoids the damage to the body.

Fray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slice shoots and misses
and Fray cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Slice shoots in for a takedown but Fray shows good takedown defense.
Slice is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fray swinging wildly here.
Fray avoids the head kick by Slice.
Fray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fray fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slice manages to avoid it.
Fray is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Slice rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fray counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Fray connects with a crisp jab.
Slice shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck for Slice with that takedown attempt.
Fray lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Fray rushes Slice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Fray manages to break the clinch.
Slice is looking to clinch but Fray is avoiding it.
Fray looks to score with a jab to the body but Slice is just out of range.
Fray lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Slice fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Slice tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fray defends well and Slice ends up having to push Fray into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Fray doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Fray has had enough of the clinch but Slice keeps him there for the moment.

Fray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fray drives through and clinches with Slice against the cage.
Fray scores with a shoulder strike.
Slice is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Slice breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fray connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
No joy there for Fray, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fray closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fray has Slice pressed against the cage, preventing Slice from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Fray's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Slice avoids the body shot from Fray.
Slice shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fray sprawls well. Fray wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slice gets slowly back to his feet.
Fray works over Slice's head and body with a nice combination.
Slice takes one to the side of the head.
Slice drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.


Slice is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Slice shoots in for a double leg but Fray sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Fray instigates a clinch.
Fray wants to break the clinch but can't.

Slice ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Slice no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Fray dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Slice has his takedown stuffed
and Fray counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Slice thinking.
Fray lands the left hand.
Fray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slice moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fray throws a right and a left that Slice avoids nicely.
Fray throws a right and a left that Slice avoids nicely.
Fray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jason Fray seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Slice takes one on the button.

Slice clinches up with Fray and pushes him back against the cage.
Slice tries to pull guard but Fray forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Slice is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tekken Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slice keeps control of Fray as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Slice jumps guard but Fray turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Fray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Fray forces Slice back against the cage and clinches.
Fray managing to block the knees to the body from Slice.
Slice wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice is trying to break free.
Come on Fray - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Fray lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Slice backwards.

Fray manages to break the clinch.
Fray has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fray takes a swing at Slice's ribcage but misses.
Fray cracks Slice with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jason Fray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice with a poor takedown
and Fray counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Slice doesn't manage to clinch there - Fray circles away.
Fray lands a head shot.
Slice showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fray.

Fray has managed to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Slice goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fray prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fray has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Fray lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Slice or not.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fray misses with a double jab

and Slice counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Slice.
Slice looking to stall.

Fray breaks from the clinch.

Fray drops Slice with a beautiful combination! Slice stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fray is looking for the KO!
Oh Slice is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fray lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Slice can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Fray and Slice drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Fray.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Fray!
An out of breath Jason Fray thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
