The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dziaslo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hendricks moves out of range of the strikes.
Dziaslo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Dziaslo is looking to land body kicks.
Hendricks really is a fat lump.
Dziaslo throws a series of strikes that have Hendricks backpedaling.
Dziaslo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dziaslo looks winded!
Dziaslo clinches up with Hendricks and pushes him back against the cage.
Hendricks effectively controlling the action here.
Hendricks tries to throw a body punch but Dziaslo avoids it by throwing Hendricks back against the cage.
Hendricks breaks from the clinch.
Dziaslo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hendricks goes for a double leg but Dziaslo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dziaslo continues to drive forward.

Hendricks tries to pull guard but Dziaslo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Hendricks is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dziaslo pulls him back up using the underhooks.

A frustrated look appears on Dziaslo's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Dziaslo has Hendricks pushed against the cage.

Hendricks tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dziaslo counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Hendricks gets tackled into the cage by Dziaslo. Dziaslo maintains the clinch.
Hendricks tries to stall but Dziaslo uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hendricks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dziaslo shoots and misses
and Hendricks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dziaslo won't be happy with that.
Hendricks grinds an elbow into Dziaslo's temple.
Hendricks trying to control the position but Dziaslo is working away.
Hendricks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hendricks happy to just control the position for now.
Dziaslo tries to bench press Hendricks off him but Hendricks keeps the position.
Hendricks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dziaslo keeps working.
Hendricks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dziaslo, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hendricks wants to control but Dziaslo is keeping him busy.
Sloppy strikes there by Hendricks.
Hendricks trying to control the position but Dziaslo is working away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hendricks tries to stand but Dziaslo is controlling his head.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hendricks is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dziaslo's shoulder. That is not cool.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marion Hendricks dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hendricks shoots for a double leg takedown but Dziaslo sprawls well. He's pushed Hendricks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dziaslo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Dziaslo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hendricks pinned against the cage. Hendricks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hendricks shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hendricks showed some decent athleticism there.
Dziaslo misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Still in half guard, Hendricks seems content to control.
Hendricks seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dziaslo for as long as he can get away with.
Dziaslo is breathing heavily.
Hendricks tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Dziaslo is looking to escape.
Hendricks works his way into side control.
Dziaslo is not content to let Hendricks control the position.
Hendricks lands a few punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dziaslo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hendricks staying calm.
Hendricks cracks Dziaslo with a big elbow.
Dziaslo takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hendricks creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dziaslo tries to buck Hendricks off but Hendricks is having none of it.
Hendricks wants to control but Dziaslo is keeping him busy.
Hendricks controls the position from side control.
Hendricks has an Americana. Dziaslo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Hendricks is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Hendricks hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
