Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waldemar Koksowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fitch Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shields has chosen Bump N Grind as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Waldemar Koksowicz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fitch Shields! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koksowicz moves away from the strike by Shields. Koksowicz tries to clinch up. Koksowicz is looking to clinch but Shields is avoiding it.

Shields looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Shields showing good wrestling skills to control the position. It looks like Shields might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Shields advances to half guard. Shields looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Fitch Shields. Shields fails with a takedown attempt. Shields looking to score a takedown here. Koksowicz is defending well but Shields drives through and ends up in Koksowicz's guard. Shields engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Koksowicz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shields defends it easily. Shields's corner is telling him to maintain position. Koksowicz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Shields slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Koksowicz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Koksowicz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Shields is pushing down on Koksowicz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Koksowicz is fighting to maintain full guard but Shields has managed to sneak the leg through. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Shields in particular looking to stall. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shields passes the guard and advances to mount! Shields controlling his opponent. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koksowicz is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Shields avoids the attempt from Koksowicz to control. Koksowicz can't escape the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Fitch Shields hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Koksowicz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Shields takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koksowicz tries to clinch up but Shields circles away and keeps his distance. Shields avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fitch Shields dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Koksowicz wants to clinch up but Shields keeps it at a distance. A big left from Koksowicz misses. Koksowicz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Koksowicz connects with a nice looking jab.
Shields should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Shields manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Koksowicz on his heels. He'll look to pass Koksowicz's guard now, I'm sure. Koksowicz looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Shields passes into half guard.
Shields keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Koksowicz actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are battling for position here. Koksowicz manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shields's corner is telling him to maintain position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Shields sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Koksowicz's guard. Shields stalling. Koksowicz wants to control but Shields is keeping busy.
Shields is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Shields looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shields's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Fitch Shields has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Koksowicz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shields. Koksowicz doesn't manage to clinch there - Shields circles away.
Koksowicz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Koksowicz has closed the distance and engaged Shields in a clinch.
Koksowicz is pressed up against the cage. Shields has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Koksowicz down to the mat. Koksowicz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Koksowicz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shields fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Koksowicz avoids it really well and circles away. Waldemar Koksowicz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fitch Shields. Shields sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Koksowicz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Koksowicz doesn't manage to clinch there - Shields circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koksowicz lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Shields is looking to close the distance but Koksowicz sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Shields crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Shields is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Waldemar Koksowicz! Waldemar Koksowicz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
