Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Hecker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tic Tac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hecker comes into the arena with Hell's Last Survivor by Halford blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tic Tac! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hecker closes the distance and clinches. Hecker tries to pull guard but Tac holds him up against the cage and eventually Hecker drops back down to his feet.
Hecker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hecker wants to take the fight to the mat but Tac manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Tac is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Tac lands a couple of decent looking shots. Tac looking to pass the guard. Tac prevents Hecker from getting back to his feet. Hecker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tac throws a big elbow that misses. Tac told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tac looking for a submission but Hecker manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hecker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hecker wants to get back to striking at distance but Tac won't allow it.

Tic Tac dominated that round. That's time! Hecker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hecker drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tac dives on top into guard. Hecker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hecker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Tac stands up from Hecker's guard - Tac perhaps looking for a knockout. Hecker listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Hecker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tac looking for submissions off his back. Hecker missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tac can do anything to dispel that myth. Tac blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hecker. Tac is looking for a sweep. Hecker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tac on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tac tries to roll over but Hecker keeps him under control. Tac is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hecker pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hecker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tac's head backwards. Tac darts in looking for a takedown but Hecker gets double underhooks and turns Tac into the cage. Tac prevents the takedown attempt.
A short right from Tac. Hecker tries to score a body lock takedown but Tac shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Tac has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hecker after a bit of a struggle. Tac has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hecker uses from the top position. Hecker wants to control from the top but Tac keeps moving. Tac is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hecker defends well. Hecker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. That's one minute gone in the round. Hecker is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jeff Hecker wasn't doing enough on the ground. Tac shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hecker as he jumps to the side. Jeff Hecker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tic Tac. Hecker has managed to clinch.

Tac tries to avoid it but Hecker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tac to the ground. Tac escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tac was covering up waiting for the punch and Hecker finishes the takedown easily into guard. Tac preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hecker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hecker is working Tac over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Tac is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
