Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel MetCalf!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Evans has managed to clinch.
MetCalf putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Evans in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Evans really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
MetCalf swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Evans tries to stall but MetCalf uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Maybe Evans would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much.
Evans is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables MetCalf to keep the fight standing.
Evans has had enough of the clinch but MetCalf keeps him there for the moment.

Evans pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
MetCalf throws a nice inside leg kick.
Evans uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from MetCalf.
MetCalf should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

MetCalf is looking to slow Evans down with leg kicks.
Evans is breathing heavily.
MetCalf cracks the inside of Evans's front leg.
MetCalf moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

MetCalf throws a leg kick which misses Evans's front leg but catches the back leg as Evans tries to avoid it.

MetCalf throws a head kick but Evans moves out of range.
Evans takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

MetCalf throws a front kick that sends Evans stumbling back into the cage.
MetCalf misses with a jab, cross combination.
MetCalf lands a nice leg kick that just misses Evans's sensitive parts.
MetCalf lands with a thumping leg kick.
Evans is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
MetCalf lands a nice looking kick to the body. Evans takes a step back to recover.

Evans takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Evans gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Evans stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from MetCalf.
MetCalf moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

MetCalf lands a big head kick that sends Evans tumbling to the mat! MetCalf takes a step backwards and waves Evans back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Evans is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
MetCalf fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Evans has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Evans is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
MetCalf pulls out of a head kick attempt.
MetCalf cracks Evans on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Evans falls backwards against the cage. MetCalf follows up with more strikes that drop Evans to his knees. MetCalf keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Evans! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel MetCalf!
