Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ronny Carrillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mario Jorge!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorge fails to land with a series of punches.
Mario Jorge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jorge shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Carrillo as he avoids it easily.

Carrillo gets a clinch.

Carrillo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jorge swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ronny Carrillo just wasn't active enough.

Carrillo jumps guard but Jorge stands there with Carrillo around his waist. Carrillo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Carrillo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jorge walks away with a smile on his face. Carrillo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jorge is defended easily by Carrillo.

Carrillo jumps guard and drags Jorge to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Carrillo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Carrillo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jorge circles away quickly and effectively.

Jorge will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carrillo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jorge moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jorge changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carrillo tries to avoid it but Jorge manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carrillo to the ground. Carrillo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Carrillo tries to pull guard but Jorge won't allow it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ronny Carrillo showed his dominance in that final round.
