Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cyprian Warga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drakkar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Cyprian Warga! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Drakkar! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warga thumps Drakkar with a low kick. Drakkar connects with an inside leg kick. Drakkar doesn't manage to clinch there - Warga circles away.
Warga throws a nice head kick!
Warga is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action! Drakkar connects with a body shot. Drakkar misses with a series of wild punches.
Drakkar tries to land a front kick but Warga steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Warga throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Drakkar moves out of range as Warga throws a body kick.
Warga looks to land a body kick but Drakkar moved away. Drakkar throws a low kick but Warga avoids it. Warga tried to score with a low kick but Drakkar checks it. Warga attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Drakkar gets a clinch. Drakkar misses with a knee to the head.

It looks like Cyprian Warga has been cut. I was talking to Warga's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Drakkar's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Drakkar tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Drakkar tries to land knees in the clinch but Warga avoids the damage to the body. Drakkar throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Wargas head. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Drakkar tries a knee to the head but Warga blocks it.

We've been informed that Drakkar has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Drakkar tries to land a knee to the head but Warga blocks with his arms.

Cyprian Warga's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Drakkar scores with a shot to the side of Warga's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Drakkar lands an elbow inside. Warga tries to work over Drakkar's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Drakkar lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Jeez, Cyprian Warga's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Drakkar missing with knees to the body.

Drakkar just leaning against Warga, taking a breather. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Drakkar misses with an elbow strike.

Ivan Drakkar dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cyprian Warga's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Warga pivots, looking for a leg kick but Drakkar is out of range and Warga settles back down. Good shot there by Drakkar. Good leg kick by Drakkar there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ivan Drakkar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drakkar looks to score with a jab to the body but Warga is just out of range. Drakkar lands a head kick!

Drakkar throws a jab when Warga was well out of range. Drakkar digs a good body shot into Warga's ribs. Warga lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Warga doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Warga fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Drakkar. Drakkar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Warga was well out of range. Poor timing from Drakkar. Drakkar is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Warga rather than just go for the knockout. Warga throws a body kick that misses.

Drakkar connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Drakkar with a body punch. A glancing blow. Drakkar looks to land a combination. Warga sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Warga misses with a head kick.
Drakkar scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A nice combination there by Drakkar.
Warga throws a leg kick that is checked and Drakkar counters with a nice uppercut. A decent looking body kick lands there for Drakkar. Drakkar throws a jab when Warga was well out of range. Drakkar fails with an attempt to clinch.

Warga missing with a left hand there. Drakkar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Warga throws a shot from downtown. Drakkar moves away and avoids it. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Warga gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Drakkar. Drakkar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Warga.

Warga throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drakkar checks a leg kick. Drakkar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ivan Drakkar seems to be getting the better of the standup. Warga throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Drakkar sees it coming and avoids it easily. Warga throws a sloppy head kick and Drakkar moves out of range easily. A swing and a miss from Drakkar. Warga takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Drakkar throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Warga. Warga on the wrong end of a nice jab. Drakkar throws a front kick that sends Warga stumbling back into the cage. No joy there for Drakkar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Drakkar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Drakkar throws a sloppy head kick and Warga moves out of range easily. Warga cracks the inside of Drakkar's front leg. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Warga walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Warga drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cyprian Warga's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
