Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Davidson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank White! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davidson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. White wants to control but Davidson postures up. White is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Davidson is staying active. Davidson tries to move to full mount but White actually manages to regain half guard. Davidson moves into full mount! White won't be happy about that! White gets back to half guard. White is pressing down on Davidson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Davidson really is a fat lump. White wants to control the position but Davidson says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. White is pressing down on Davidson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! White is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davidson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Davidson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Davidson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but White is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Davidson tries for a kimura but White is defending well. White is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Davidson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davidson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Davidson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Davidson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Davidson avoids the attempt from White to control. White is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. White working to try and regain half guard.
Davidson breaks from White's wrist control and lands an elbow. White working to try and regain half guard.
White tries to lock up and control but Davidson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth. White can't escape the position.
Davidson working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. White is trying to get back to his feet but can't. White looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davidson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Davidson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. White wants to control but Davidson is having none of it. White defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Davidson. Davidson wants to stand but White is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Davidson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Davidson moves into the clinch successfully.
Davidson misses with a body punch.
Davidson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but White pulls him back up using the underhooks. Davidson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed White clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! White has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. White trying to control the hands but Davidson won't let him. Davidson trying to control. Davidson has the hooks in. White is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davidson is not going to allow White to sit and survive in this position. Davidson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. White knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften White for a finish. White is covering up but some of the strikes from Davidson are getting through and doing damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Davidson is trying to control but White is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davidson with the ground and pound from mount. Davidson raining down hammerfists from mount. White slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davidson controlling the pace. White moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. White throws his legs up looking for a submission but Davidson uses it to pass to side control.
White is breathing heavily. Davidson tries to stand but White is controlling his head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Davidson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. White is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Davidson trying to control the action but White is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. White wants to control but Davidson postures up. White stops Davidson from passing to mount. White being controlled for a moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davidson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Davidson dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
White ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Davidson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Davidson moves to clinch but White breaks away and White counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Ben Davidson has been cut. White scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
White gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Davidson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Davidson fails to pull guard.
White tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Davidson smiles and moves away.
White misses with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. White tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Davidson defends well and White ends up having to push Davidson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ben Davidson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank White. White escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. White shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Davidson is trying to defend but White finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Davidson gets back to full guard.
Davidson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. White is aware though and is defending well. Davidson trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. White stopping the sweep attempt from Davidson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davidson is working hard here to advance position. Ben Davidson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Davidson trying to keep a closed guard but White is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White trying to stand up but can't free himself from Davidson's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ben Davidson. White tries for a takedown but Davidson circles away easily so Davidson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Davidson trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White keeping full guard, as Davidson tries to pass. Davidson throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White has his foot on Davidson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davidson works his way back into a safe position though. Davidson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Davidson trying to control but White is working from the bottom. Davidson throws a big elbow that misses. Davidson tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Davidson wanted to stand there but White had control of the position. Frank White has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ben Davidson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davidson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ben Davidson. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Davidson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
