Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sammie Wyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alberich Megrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Megrez has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Alberich Megrez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sammie Wyatt's chin.

Wyatt has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Megrez uses from the top position.
Wyatt pulls Megrez in to control the position.
Wyatt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wyatt stands up out of the half guard.
Wyatt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Wyatt is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Megrez is trying to escape and Wyatt transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Megrez is forced to tap! Nice work there by Wyatt! Very nice indeed!
