Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between GK Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Spyros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spyros comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Bird and the Worm kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that GK Jnr has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily GK Jnr seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, GK Jnr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Spyros! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spyros keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Spyros keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jnr with a lazy takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for GK Jnr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jnr gets tackled into the cage by Spyros. Spyros maintains the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Spyros.
It looks like GK Jnr has been cut. Jnr can't get the takedown.
Jnr is working for takedown but Spyros is calmly controlling the position for now. Spyros with a knee to the head.
Spyros with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Spyros - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jnr goes for a takedown in the clinch but Spyros prevents it.
Spyros gets control of Jnr's arms and successfully pulls guard. Spyros will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Jnr controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jnr wants to control from the top but Spyros keeps moving. Spyros can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jnr controls the pace. Jnr throws a big right hand that misses. Jnr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Spyros is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jnr is aware though and is defending well. Jnr with a flurry of punches that miss. Spyros looks winded! Jnr looking to pass the guard. Jnr pushes down on Spyros's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jnr is thwarting Spyros's attempts to control the position. Jnr missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jnr takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Spyros keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Jnr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Spyros is just riding it out for now. Jnr eventually gives up the hold. Jnr is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jnr has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Spyros defend it? Jnr steps over the head and cranks it - Spyros is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Jnr!
