Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fader fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Little sprawls well initially but Fader persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fader wants to work for an arm triangle but Little is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fader is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Fader landing strikes from the mount.
Fader lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Little regains half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fader with the ground and pound but Little uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Little has Fader pulled in close to control his posture.

Fader with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fader has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fader accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fader wants to control from the top but Little keeps moving.
Fader throws an elbow that misses. Little uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fader's guard. Nice move by Little!
Fader wants to sweep here but Little controlling him for the moment.
Fader is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Little is controlling him.

Little in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fader checks a leg kick.
Fader changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Little tries to avoid it but Fader manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Little to the ground. Little escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Little throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Little feints and as Fader raises his hands in defense, Little changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Little is breathing heavily.
Fader is trying to stand.

Little trying to control but Fader is working from the bottom.
Fader looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Alva Little just wasn't active enough.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fader can do anything to dispel that myth.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Alva Little will probably get the nod.

Fader decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mo Fader was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Fader darts in looking for a takedown but Little gets double underhooks and turns Fader into the cage.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Little is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fader wants to stand but Little has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Little might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fader has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Little is proving hard to escape from.
Fader takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mo Fader hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Little looking to sit in guard and control but Fader gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Little utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Little controls Fader momentarily but Fader frees himself.
Fader prevents Little from getting back to his feet.

Fader shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Little pinned against the cage. Little gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Little changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fader looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alva Little.
