Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Dijkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Grozny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Dijkman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Thomas Dijkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Grozny! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dijkman tries to sprawl but Grozny drives through with a takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Dijkman taking some punishment here, with Grozny in his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grozny trying to advance position but Dijkman counters by regaining guard. Grozny passes easily into side control. Nice work. Grozny tries to stand but Dijkman is controlling his head. Dijkman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grozny wants to take a breather but Dijkman manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Grozny. Dijkman is looking to stand up but Grozny isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dijkman manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Grozny decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Grozny sitting and controlling from the half guard. Grozny stops Dijkman from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grozny is looking to stall here but Dijkman recovers full guard. Grozny must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dijkman uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Dijkman has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Grozny. Dijkman throws the left hand but Grozny avoids the punch easily. Jab by Dijkman. Grozny shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dijkman sprawls well. Dijkman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grozny gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grozny avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dijkman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dijkman wants it to stay on the feet. Grozny moves away from the strike by Dijkman. Grozny closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dijkman did well to prevent Grozny getting side control. Grozny looks winded! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dijkman is trying to stand back up but Grozny is controlling him
Grozny is keen to just control but Dijkman is a slippery customer. Dijkman wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dijkman makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ivan Grozny will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Grozny bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Thomas Dijkman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grozny tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Grozny is defended easily by Dijkman. Grozny looks for a takedown but Dijkman sprawls well. Dijkman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dijkman feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Grozny sprawling to the canvas! Grozny rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dijkman finish him?!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dijkman cracks Grozny with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Grozny is rocked! Grozny bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Dijkman comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Grozny falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Grozny was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Thomas Dijkman!
