And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrew John Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson rushes Rangel and presses him up against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Anderson as Rangel tries to tie him up.

Anderson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rangel can't fight it off and eventually Anderson manages to take the fight to the floor. Rangel looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Anderson stops Rangel from standing up.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Rangel keeps moving.
Anderson controlling from the top position.
Rangel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rangel tries to get out of the position.
Rangel working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Anderson.
Rangel can't keep his opponent in guard - Anderson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Anderson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rangel sees it coming and defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson wants to free his trapped foot but Rangel is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Rangel wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.

Anderson is working for a kimura but Rangel is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson blocks the strikes from Rangel.
Anderson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Anderson is keen to just control but Rangel is a slippery customer.

Rangel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anderson pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Rangel is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Anderson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rangel defend it? Anderson steps over the head and cranks it - Rangel is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Anderson!
