The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runqvist shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Brandon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Runqvist stopping the sweep attempt from Brandon.
Runqvist drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Runqvist jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Brandon is pulling down on Runqvist's head. It's preventing any offense from Runqvist, at least for the moment.
Runqvist wants to control from the top but Brandon keeps moving.
Brandon wants to sweep here but Runqvist controlling him for the moment.
Runqvist trying to control the position from guard on top but Brandon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Runqvist might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brandon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Runqvist drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Brandon dives on top into guard.
Brandon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Runqvist has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Brandon doesn't defend quickly enough and Runqvist has managed to lock this one up! Can Brandon escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Runqvist on a fantastic submission victory.
