Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Grot Myszkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! 25 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Fisher! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Leon Grot Myszkowski has been cut. Grot Myszkowski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Fisher misses with a head kick.

Grot Myszkowski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fisher did well to prevent Grot Myszkowski getting side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fisher is trying to get back to full guard. Grot Myszkowski working some ground and pound from close in. Fisher prevents Grot Myszkowski from getting back to his feet. Grot Myszkowski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fisher manages to get himself to full guard.
Grot Myszkowski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fisher dives on top into guard. Fisher tries to free his leg and advance position but Grot Myszkowski is retaining full guard. Grot Myszkowski is looking to stand up but Fisher isn't so interested in that idea. Fisher decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fisher throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Grot Myszkowski to counter with a crisp jab. Fisher connects with a high kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Grot Myszkowski shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fisher manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Grot Myszkowski postures up.
Fisher wants to sweep here but Grot Myszkowski controlling him for the moment. Grot Myszkowski being controlled here momentarily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Grot Myszkowski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fisher is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Grot Myszkowski, into his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Fisher dominated that round. The cut man is working on Leon Grot Myszkowski's cut. That's time! Grot Myszkowski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

John Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Grot Myszkowski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sloppy strikes from Fisher. Those never looked like landing. Whack! Fisher lands a heavy head kick that drops Grot Myszkowski. The ref tackles Fisher to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Grot Myszkowski was done.
