Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Tromundo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zalicker Zukowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Tromundo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zalicker Zukowski!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zukowski throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Tromundo blocks a head kick by Zukowski.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tromundo is defended easily by Zukowski.
Good leg kick by Zukowski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tromundo gets a clinch.

Tromundo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zukowski after a bit of a struggle.
Zukowski looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Zukowski is pressed up against the cage. Tromundo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zukowski down to the mat. Zukowski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Tromundo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tromundo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zukowski defends it nicely.
Tromundo moves into the clinch.
Tromundo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Zukowski is trying to break the clinch but Tromundo is controlling him.

Tromundo has Zukowski pressed against the cage, preventing Zukowski from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Tromundo is pushing Zukowski up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Tromundo tries a knee to the head but Zukowski blocks it.
Zukowski wants to get back to striking at distance but Tromundo won't allow it.
Zukowski is pressed up against the cage. Tromundo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zukowski down to the mat. Zukowski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tromundo shoots in but no luck this time.
Zukowski lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tromundo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zukowski as he avoids it easily.
Tromundo moves into the clinch.

Tromundo slows down the pace here.
Zukowski wants to break the clinch but can't.
Tromundo keeps control of Zukowski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Tromundo has hold of one of Zukowski's legs. Zukowski is fighting the takedown attempt but Tromundo gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tromundo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Zukowski tries to roll over but Tromundo keeps him under control.
Zukowski pushes Tromundo off looking to stand but Tromundo dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zukowski is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tromundo scores with a couple of nice shots.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tromundo in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zukowski on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Tromundo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Zukowski!

Zukowski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tromundo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Zukowski is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Tromundo working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Zukowski looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Tromundo! Submission of the night perhaps?
