Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aron Caller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Rigs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aron Caller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Rigs! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caller shoots in but Rigs avoids the takedown attempt easily. No luck for Caller with that takedown attempt. No luck for Caller with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aron Caller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Caller or perhaps it was just good defense by Rigs which made him look bad. Rigs throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Caller looks for a takedown but Rigs sprawls well. A jab from Rigs finds it's way through Caller's defenses. Rigs throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Rigs has managed to clinch.

Rigs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rigs throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rigs lands a right hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caller shoots for a double leg takedown but Rigs sprawls well. He's pushed Caller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Caller is breathing heavily. Caller shoots for a takedown but Rigs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rigs tries to clinch up but Caller circles away and keeps his distance. Caller fails with a takedown attempt. Decent striking displayed by Rigs there. Rigs lands a jab-cross combination. Nice sprawl there from Rigs as Caller shoots in. Rigs tries to close the distance and clinch but Caller swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rigs scores with a jab to the jaw. Caller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rigs but Rigs pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rigs moves into the clinch successfully.

Rigs fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Caller, pushing him back against the cage. Rigs using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Caller has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rigs misses with a knee to the head. Caller keeps control of Rigs as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Rigs looking to throw knees to the head but Caller is blocking nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rigs moves in looking to clinch but Caller pushes him off. Rigs tries to clinch up but Caller circles away and keeps his distance. Rigs stuffs the takedown attempt from Caller. Caller gets slowly back to his feet. Rigs lands with a nice combination. Caller backs away looking to recover. Rigs swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Caller. Rigs scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Rigs wants to clinch up but Caller keeps it at a distance. Rigs clinches up against the cage. Rigs tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Rigs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rigs closes the distance and clinches. This has been an exciting period of action! Rigs is trying to maintain a safe position but Caller gets an underhook and turns Rigs into the cage. Rigs manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Caller with that takedown attempt. Kyle Rigs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rigs scores with a nice body kick.
Rigs bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Caller's head backwards. Caller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Caller tries to keep at a distance but Rigs has taken the fight into the clinch. Rigs is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Rigs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Caller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rigs circles away. Rigs stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A head kick from Rigs lands but Caller takes it in his stride. Rigs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Caller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rigs tries to clinch there but Caller circles away.
A punch combination from Rigs misses. Caller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rigs pinned against the cage. Rigs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Caller shoots in looking for a takedown. Rigs tries to sprawl out of it but Caller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rigs manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rigs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Caller feints and as Rigs raises his hands in defense, Caller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rigs wants to stand and escape but Caller is having none of it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Caller accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Caller won't allow Rigs to sweep him here. Caller pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rigs is keeping the position for now. Caller in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Caller passes into half guard. Caller wants to work for an arm triangle but Rigs is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aron Caller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Caller looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rigs is fending him off so far but Caller persists. Nope, Rigs circles away and we're back to standing. Rigs throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Caller looks for a takedown but Rigs sprawls well. Rigs misses with a double jab.
Caller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aron Caller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Caller shoots for a takedown but Rigs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rigs fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice sprawl there from Rigs as Caller shoots in. Rigs sizes up Caller with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Rigs throws a nice looking combination but Caller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rigs tries to clinch up. Rigs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Caller pushes Rigs against the cage but Rigs circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Caller gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rigs. Rigs throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rigs gets caught flat footed, as Caller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rigs keeping full guard, as Caller tries to pass. Rigs wants to stand and escape but Caller is having none of it. Caller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rigs works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rigs avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Caller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Rigs moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Caller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Caller drives through with a takedown into guard. Caller postures up in Rigs's guard and throws a big left but Rigs blocks it. Rigs working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Caller. Caller landing some decent shots from guard. Caller drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rigs dives on top into guard. Caller lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rigs! Rigs is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caller unloading with bombs! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Caller connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Caller looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Caller misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Caller looking for a guillotine from mount but Rigs is having none of it. Caller postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rigs looks a forlorn figure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aron Caller will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Caller fails with the takedown. Rigs tries to clinch up. Caller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rigs pinned against the cage. Rigs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rigs lands a nice looking body kick. Caller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rigs as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aron Caller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rigs fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Rigs tries to clinch up but Caller circles away and keeps his distance. Rigs instigates a clinch. The is referee keeping an eye on Rigs - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rigs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rigs fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Caller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Rigs gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rigs breaks from the clinch.

Aron Caller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rigs stuffs the takedown attempt from Caller. Caller gets slowly back to his feet. Rigs lands with a kick to the temple. Caller shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Rigs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Caller swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rigs stuffs the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Rigs looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Caller takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Caller shoots in but Rigs avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rigs tries to clinch up but Caller circles away and keeps his distance. Caller shoots in but Rigs avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rigs misses with a jab, cross combination.

Caller takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Caller tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rigs swivels and escapes. Caller ducks right into an uppercut from Rigs. Caller has a takedown stuffed. Caller fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Caller shoots in but no luck this time. Caller closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rigs to the mat! Rigs manages to get full guard. Caller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rigs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Caller lands a couple of decent looking shots. Caller stops Rigs from standing up. Caller postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Caller stands and throws Rigs's legs to the side, diving into side control. Caller creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Rigs avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Caller. Caller tries to score with some ground and pound. Rigs controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Kyle Rigs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Rigs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
