Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evan Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alcuid Francois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kennedy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kernkraft 400 (Sport Chant Stadium Remix) by Zombie Nation. Francois has chosen Intro as his entrance music. Alcuid Francois acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francois shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Francois goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kennedy turns into him and now he's in Francois's guard.
Kennedy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Francois is keeping the position for now.
Kennedy chips away with some ground and pound.
Kennedy trying to control the position from guard on top but Francois is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Francois has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kennedy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kennedy wants to work for an arm triangle but Francois is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
