The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but River circles away quickly and effectively.
River avoids the body shot from Williams.
Williams swings for the body but River moves out of range.
River's jab looks to have found its range, popping Williams under the eye.
Williams throws a body punch but River moves out of range.
Williams tries to bum rush River with a series of wild strikes but River uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Good work by Williams as he checks the leg kick.
Williams lands a lovely overhand right.

Williams missing with a left hand there. River was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
River slips a straight right by Williams.
Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but River manages to avoid it.

River scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
River on the wrong end of a nice hook.
River throws a looping overhand right but Williams ducks down to avoid it.
Williams takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

River rushes Williams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
River wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Williams has him pressed against the cage.
Williams scores with a shoulder strike.
Williams tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Williams tries a body shot but River blocks it.
Williams has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
River tries a knee to the head but Williams blocks it.
Williams lands with a left to the head.
River throws a punch but it's blocked by Williams.

River lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
A short body shot lands from River as the two fighters clinch.
Williams gets through River's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
River lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
River digs a right hand underneath Williams's ribcage. Williams let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Williams wants to break the clinch but can't.

River blocks a punch to the side of the head.
River's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Williams lands with a good body shot.
River lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Williams scores with a one two! River had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
River scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
River misses with a body shot.
Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
River throws a leg kick but Williams sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Williams misses with a hook
and River counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Williams scores with a sloppy right hand. River should have avoided that one.
Nice shot lands for River.
Williams is rocked!
Williams is aggressively charging in as River backs up avoiding any damage. River tosses out a jab and Williams runs right into it face first! Williams is out cold! River dropped down on all fours and is barking in Williams's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Steve River!
